Kawalya John Allan, known as Allan Soja, was born on November 3rd, 1994, in Kampala, Makindye, Uganda, at Nsambya Hospital.

Allan’s passion for cameras began at an early age, inspired by the small digital cameras his father, Ssewanyana Kiwanuka William, owned. Raised in Kampala, Uganda, Allan developed a deep love for cinematography at the age of 15.

Now based in the Netherlands, Allan Soja has collaborated with Westerpark Studios in Amsterdam and CineGear. Over the past 8 years, he has worked with various international artists and brands, establishing himself as a sought-after cinematographer in the industry.
